Job Title: Product Developer – Gaming App

Position Summary:
The Product Developer will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our gaming apps. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to create engaging game features and functionalities, ensuring that we provide the best possible user experience. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and a deep passion for mobile gaming.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new features, mechanics, and content for mobile games across multiple platforms (iOS, Android).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, QA, marketing, etc.) to define, prioritize, and execute product roadmaps.
Work with game designers to ensure that gameplay is enjoyable, intuitive, and optimized for performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, while following industry best practices.
Test and debug games, identifying and resolving technical issues to enhance gameplay and app performance.
Continuously monitor game performance, user engagement, and feedback to inform product improvements.
Participate in regular sprint planning, code reviews, and product discussions.
Stay up-to-date with gaming trends, new technologies, and best practices to help shape the future of our gaming apps.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in mobile game development, with at least 2-3 years of experience in product development.
Proficiency in game development engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Strong programming skills in languages like C#, C++, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and experience with mobile app development.
Familiarity with API integration, in-app purchases, and monetization strategies.
Ability to collaborate with designers and artists to create visually appealing and user-friendly experiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Passion for gaming and staying current with the latest trends and developments in the gaming industry.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Experience with augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) gaming development.
Familiarity with multiplayer game development and network programming.
Knowledge of game analytics tools and user behavior tracking.
Previous experience in a startup or agile development environment.
