Position Summary:
The office assistant will play a key role in ensuring the office environment is efficient and well-organized. You’ll assist with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support our teams, while also contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily office operations, including organizing and maintaining office supplies and inventory.
Assist with scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and coordinating calendars.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring they’re directed to the appropriate team members.
Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
Support HR and management with onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
Help coordinate team events, training sessions, and office celebrations.
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and functional office environment (e.g., coordinating with vendors, managing mail, or addressing facility issues).
Provide administrative support for various departments as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Comfortable working in a tech-driven, fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers) and basic administrative procedures.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Previous experience in an office or administrative role.
Interest in technology or familiarity with software tools like Slack, Trello, or Asana.
Ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly.
