Job Title: Team Lead – Sales Support
Location: Remote
Position Summary:
The Team Lead-Sales Support will oversee and manage a team of sales support specialists who assist the sales team in managing client relationships, proposals, contracts, and operations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a customer-centric approach to ensure the highest level of service to clients and the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the sales support team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to streamline processes, support deal execution, and improve client experiences.
Supervise and review the preparation of sales documents, proposals, contracts, and reports.
Monitor team performance against KPIs and provide coaching, feedback, and training as needed.
Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer inquiries and operational issues.
Work with internal teams (e.g., product, finance, and customer success) to align sales support strategies with business goals.
Identify process improvements to enhance sales support efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM and database records.
Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in a sales support or customer-facing role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Strong understanding of sales operations and financial services/software industry experience is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales support tools.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Familiarity with SaaS/SaaFS business models and subscription-based services.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Proven track record of process improvement and team development.
