Job Title: Team Lead – Sales Support

Location: Remote

Position Summary:
The Team Lead-Sales Support will oversee and manage a team of sales support specialists who assist the sales team in managing client relationships, proposals, contracts, and operations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a customer-centric approach to ensure the highest level of service to clients and the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales support team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to streamline processes, support deal execution, and improve client experiences.

  • Supervise and review the preparation of sales documents, proposals, contracts, and reports.

  • Monitor team performance against KPIs and provide coaching, feedback, and training as needed.

  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer inquiries and operational issues.

  • Work with internal teams (e.g., product, finance, and customer success) to align sales support strategies with business goals.

  • Identify process improvements to enhance sales support efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM and database records.

  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales support or customer-facing role, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

  • Strong understanding of sales operations and financial services/software industry experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales support tools.

  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Familiarity with SaaS/SaaFS business models and subscription-based services.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Proven track record of process improvement and team development.
