Job Title: Product Specialist Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Product Specialist Supervisor will oversee and mentor a team of product specialists who assist customers with product knowledge, technical support, and sales. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the team delivers exceptional service, and staying updated on the latest cell phone technologies and features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of product specialists to deliver outstanding product knowledge and customer support.

  • Train team members on new product launches, features, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance against KPIs and provide regular feedback and coaching.

  • Serve as the point of escalation for complex customer inquiries and product-related issues.

  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure accurate product information and seamless customer experiences.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to guide the team effectively.

  • Develop and implement processes to improve product demonstrations, support, and overall team efficiency.

  • Create and deliver regular performance reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of mobile devices, cell phone technology, and related accessories.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle escalated customer concerns effectively.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and inventory management systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Prior experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry.

  • Technical certification in mobile devices or related technologies.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and improving team performance metrics.
