Job Title: Director of IT – Office Management Company

Position Summary:
The Director of IT will oversee the overall technology strategy, implementation, and operations within the company. You will lead the IT department, manage technical projects, and ensure that our IT systems are aligned with business goals and client needs. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent problem-solving skills to support both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the IT department in the development, implementation, and optimization of the company’s IT strategy, systems, and services.
Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of systems and networks.
Manage the company’s software applications, data management systems, and cloud-based platforms to meet operational needs.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Collaborate with other departments to assess business requirements and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality services.
Ensure effective IT support for internal teams and external clients, resolving issues and minimizing downtime.
Stay current with technology trends, cybersecurity threats, and best practices to recommend improvements and innovations.
Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure effective service delivery and project management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
8+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in IT infrastructure, network management, and enterprise-level software applications.
Proven ability to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure IT systems.
In-depth knowledge of IT security practices, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and SaaS applications.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing IT team.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to align IT strategies with business goals and drive technological innovation.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in office management or similar service-based industries.
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar.
Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
